Independent Apartment Living and Service Coordination

Genacross Lutheran Services has been providing attractive, clean and affordable housing for seniors since 1981 when we opened our first independent living community in Toledo, Ohio. Each community enables residents, generally age 62 or older, to enjoy life with fewer worries. Most apartments are federally subsidized, so rents are affordable for eligible seniors and disabled individuals. Rent includes all utilities, except telephone and cable. Interior and exterior maintenance, lawn care, snow and trash removal, service coordination and numerous socialization opportunities are also provided at little or no cost for residents. As a faith-based organization, Genacross offers spiritual care or residents, and we welcome people of all faiths to live in our housing communities.
