    Residential Treatment/Direct Care Staff for Youth & Young Adults

    Supervisor of Health Services

    Genacross Family & Youth Services has an immediate opening for a full-time Supervisor of Health Services in the northwest Ohio area. Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to: supervision of nurses providing med education to youth in a residential setting, handling medication changes through county contacts, monitoring of medication administration, training staff on med passing procedures, on-call responsibilities, and involvement with administrative duties in the behavioral health field.

    An RN license is preferred, and behavioral health and administrative experience is desired. Applicants need to possess outstanding written and verbal communication skills, as well as demonstrate strong organizational skills and attention to detail.   • Housing & Community Services

    Maintenance Technician

    Genacross Housing & Community Services has an immediate opening for a part-time (approximately 20 hours per week) Maintenance Technician at our Luther Oaks location in Norwalk, Ohio.  Applicants should have building maintenance or skilled trade experience.  This position is responsible for making repairs to the building systems, completing preventative maintenance, and rehabbing units in a senior living apartment setting.

    Additionally,  the successful candidate will ensure the neat appearance of lawn, lawn edges, shrubs, trees, and other landscape areas.  The individual will also ensure parking areas are neat and clean and that driveways are free of debris, snow, and ice. Semi-annual inspections and maintenance of HVAC systems will also be required, along with annual apartment inspections performed in conjunction with the housing manager to conform to audit/inspection standards.  We provide competitive pay in an environment dedicated to quality resident care. 

    STNAs/CNAs

    Genacross Housing & Community Services has immediate openings for a part-time (12 hours per week) and PRN (as needed) State Tested Nursing Assistants or Certified Nursing Assistants for Bethany Place, located in Fremont, Ohio. Bethany Place is a 46-unit, market-rate senior living facility with 16 assisted living units. These caregivers will provide compassionate care primarily in the assisted living wing of our facility. Additionally, these individuals will maintain compliance with existing federal, state, and local standards, as well as our established policies and procedures. Candidates must have a valid Ohio nurse aide license or be an experienced Certified Nursing Assistant/Direct Care Provider, with previous assisted living experience preferred.     Business Office Manager

    Genacross at Home has an immediate opening for a full-time Business Office Manager. This position is responsible for the day-to-day administrative responsibilities of the office. This individual will have responsibility for staff files per home health regulations, oversee the intake and admissions process, and ensure compliance criteria are in place and consistently monitored. In addition, this position will be responsible for the smooth operation of the office for its staff, customers and clients. An associate degree in business administration and prior experience working in a home health or health care environment are strongly preferred.     RNs, LPNs and Home Health Aides

    Genacross at Home has immediate openings for PRN (as needed) Registered Nurses (RNs), Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) and Home Health Aides in Toledo, Ohio, and surrounding communities. These positions administer direct nursing care and necessities of daily living to patients on an intermittent basis in their place of residence. This is performed in accordance with physician orders and plan of care under the direction and supervision of the RN Case Manager. RN and LPN candidates must have a valid Ohio license, with 1-2 years of previous experience working in a home health setting strongly preferred. An acceptable driving record is required, and regional travel will be necessary.

    Admissions & Marketing Director

    Genacross Lutheran Services-Napoleon Campus is accepting applications for a part-time Admissions & Marketing Director. This position is responsible for coordinating and implementing the marketing plans and admission process. The successful candidate must have 1-2 years prior experience with admissions and marketing, preferably in a long-term care setting. A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is preferred, with preference given to those with a clinical background.     Genacross Lutheran Services-Napoleon Campus is accepting applications for full- and part-time Dietary Aides on first and second shifts, with rotating weekends.

    Director of Dietary Services

    Genacross Lutheran Services-Napoleon Campus has an immediate opening for a full-time Director of Dietary Services. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, planning all special dietary events, supervising and scheduling employees and maintaining the daily staffing within the Dietary Department, ordering and supervising the correct stock rotation method, and maintaining high sanitation and safety standards.

    The successful candidate will be a certified dietary manager and have strong leadership and communication skills, as well as basic computer knowledge. Candidates must be willing to work flexible hours, have or be willing to obtain certification in Serve Safe, and have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.   • Genacross Lutheran Services - Toledo Campus

    Clinical Supervisor

    Genacross Lutheran Services-Toledo Campus has an immediate opening for a full-time Clinical Supervisor on the night shift. This position is responsible for the supervision of nursing care and direction of STNA duties. Job duties include, but are not limited to: preparing, overseeing and administering medications and treatments to residents; performing assessments (i.e. vitals, intakes, outputs, etc.) and direct care functions; processing physicians’ orders, labs, x-rays, etc. and seeking out clarification when necessary; and communicating appropriately with physicians, pharmacists, family members, etc. to discuss ongoing care of residents. In addition, this position completes and ensures accuracy with paperwork, medical forms, charting and all required documentation as a part of the resident care and transition of care processes.

    Experience with long-term care in a skilled nursing environment is preferred. Candidates must have a valid Ohio LPN or RN license and excellent communication skills. Accuracy and organizational skills are highly necessary for this position.     MDS Coordinator

    Genacross Lutheran Services-Toledo Campus is seeking a full-time MDS Coordinator. The primary purpose of the job is to manage the MDS in order to receive payments based on RUG scores, to coordinate resident care, and to comply with state and federal guidelines. The position also provides support to nursing staff to insure quality resident care and may be assigned additional duties and responsibilities as determined by the Director of Nursing or the Administrator. This position requires a detail-oriented individual, leadership skills, and strong organizational and communication skills. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in MDS and a valid RN license. We provide a competitive pay and benefit package.

    Receptionist

    Genacross Lutheran Services-Toledo Campus has an immediate opening for a full-time Receptionist. The successful candidate will provide clerical support, greet visitors, and answer phone inquiries.
