    Billing Assistant

    Genacross Lutheran Services has an immediate opening for a full-time Billing Assistant. This individual will be responsible for communicating with Job & Family Services regarding Medicaid residents, posting cash receipts, tracking paid status claims, and completing other clerical duties in a multi-site, fast-paced social ministry organization.

    Long-term care billing experience in a skilled nursing environment is a plus. Candidate must have excellent communication skills and be computer literate in Windows and Microsoft Office. Accuracy and organizational skills are highly necessary for this position.     Executive Director, Genacross Lutheran Services Foundation

    Genacross Lutheran Services has an immediate opening for an Executive Director of our Foundation. Reporting directly to the President/CEO and the Chair of the Foundation Board of Directors, this position is the chief development officer for the organization. The Executive Director leads and strengthens the comprehensive fundraising program in support of the Foundation’s mission and goals, with an emphasis focused on annual, major, and planned giving along with grant requests and fundraising events. As a member of the Senior Leadership Team, this individual will strive to build greater understanding and support both for Genacross Lutheran Services and the Foundation’s mission, vision and goals in the region.

    A bachelor’s degree is required with an advanced degree preferred. A degree in business/marketing/public relations or communications and CFRE certification would be a plus. A minimum of five years of increasingly responsible fundraising experience in a health care or social ministry setting with evidence of continue growth through education and participation in professional fundraising organizations is a must.     Revenue Cycle Assistant

    Genacross Lutheran Services has an immediate opening for a full-time Revenue Cycle Assistant. This position is responsible for month-end close, reviews, Medicare credit balance reports, maintaining software system updates and user access, compilation of information for cost reporting, assisting with accounts receivable reviews, and other duties in a multi-site, fast-paced social ministry organization.

    Adult Services Coordinator

    Genacross Family & Youth Services has an immediate opening for a full-time Adult Services Coordinator in Liberty Center, Ohio.     Genacross Housing & Community Services has immediate openings for a full-time Dietary Cook and part-time Dietary Aides for Bethany Place, located in Fremont, Ohio. Bethany Place is a 46-unit, market-rate senior living facility with 16 assisted living units.  These positions are responsible for providing and/or assisting in providing healthy meals according to the plan developed by the Dietary Manager, and are also responsible for cleaning and maintaining kitchen and dining room areas, including equipment and utensils.  Additionally, this individual will be responsible for complying with housing and state/local health department regulations. Previous experience working in food service and an assisted living environment are preferred. We provide competitive pay in an environment dedicated to quality resident care.

    Housing Site Manager

    Candidates must be an LPN or RN, with prior experience working in an assisted living or long-term care setting.     Maintenance Technician

    Genacross Housing & Community Services has an immediate opening for a full-time Maintenance Technician at our Luther Pines senior housing location in Lima, Ohio. Candidates should have building maintenance or skilled trade experience. This position is responsible for making repairs to the building systems, completing preventative maintenance and rehabbing units in a senior apartment living environment.

    Additionally, the successful candidate will ensure the neat appearance of lawn, lawn edges, shrubs, trees, and other landscape areas. The individual will also ensure parking areas are neat and clean and that driveways are free of debris, snow, and ice. Semi-annual inspections and maintenance of HVAC systems will be required, along with annual apartment inspections performed in conjunction with the housing manager to conform to audit/inspection standards. The primary purpose of the job is to manage the MDS in order to receive payments, to coordinate resident care, and to comply with state and federal guidelines. The position also provides support to nursing staff to ensure quality resident care and may be assigned additional duties and responsibilities as determined by the Director of Nursing or Administrator. This position requires a detail-oriented individual with strong organizational and communication skills.     Genacross Lutheran Services-Napoleon Campus has an immediate opening for a full-time RN Supervisor on the night shift. This position is responsible for the supervision of nursing care and direction of STNA duties.  Job duties include: prepare, oversee and administer medications and treatments to residents; perform assessments (i.e. vitals, intakes, outputs, etc.) and direct care functions; process physicians’ orders, labs, x-rays, etc. and seek out clarification when necessary; communicate appropriately with physicians, pharmacists, family members, etc. to discuss ongoing care of residents; complete and ensure accuracy in paperwork, medical forms, charting and all required documentation, as a part of the resident care and transition of care processes.
