    Administrative Assistant

    Genacross Lutheran Services has an immediate opening for a full-time Administrative Assistant. This position will be responsible for the efficient and effective support of the accounting/financial services and housing and community-based services departments. The position will include assisting with general clerical accounting, payroll, human resources, data entry, etc. A solid understanding of Microsoft Office (Word and Excel) is required, along with the ability to learn software systems. We provide a competitive salary and benefit package that includes a 401(k); health, life, dental, disability and vision care; along with vacation and holiday time off.

    Licensed Nursing Home Administrator/Executive Director, Wolf Creek Campus

    Genacross Lutheran Services has an immediate opening for a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator/Executive Director for our Wolf Creek Campus. The campus is comprised of 120 skilled nursing and rehabilitative beds, 79 assisted living units, and 80 independent living condos. This position is responsible for leading, designing, and overseeing the care and services of the campus through a collaborative process with organizational leaders that is reflected in long-range, strategic, and operational plans.

    The Executive Director leads and directs initiatives that deliver quality resident care and support services as identified in each service delivery area. Additionally, this individual facilitates communication methodology to promote objectives and efforts to integrate resident and client care and support services accomplishments throughout the campus.

    A bachelor’s degree in health care or business administration and three to five years of prior experience in health care administration or a related field is required. This position also requires the successful candidate to have a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator license, strong administrative experience, a proven track record of administrative accomplishments, and a passion for social ministry.     Reimbursement Liaison

    Genacross Lutheran Services has an immediate opening for a full-time Reimbursement Liaison. This position is responsible for accurately maintaining and reconciling facility census information, input of financial data regarding residents into accounting software, private pay collections, analyzing resident accounts receivable accounts, and supporting the billing specialist for the campus.

    Three or more years of experience in a long-term care business office or other health care facility setting is preferred. Health care billing and collections experience is required. Candidate must have excellent communication skills and be computer literate in Windows and Microsoft Office.  Accuracy and organizational skills are highly necessary for this position.     Direct Care Staff/Homemaker Personal Caregiver

    Genacross Family & Youth Services requires strong, confident staff members, who have the capacity to deal with high-risk young adults who have behavioral and emotional difficulties.     Adult Day Aide

    Genacross Housing & Community Services has an immediate opening in Toledo, Ohio, for a part-time Adult Day Aide at our Adult Day Center. This position is responsible for helping clients who are functionally, physically, or socially impaired and/or require oversight/assistance with activities of daily living; fostering at all times the clients’ independence, autonomy, and freedom of choice. The successful candidate must possess a high school diploma, the completion of applicable program in health and human services field, a compassionate demeanor, and the ability to work independently.     Driver

    Genacross Housing & Community Services is currently seeking a part-time Driver in Lima, Ohio, and the surrounding area. This position requires that applicants are 18 years of age and older, have had a valid driver license for at least two years, and have a good driving record. This individual is not required to maintain a special driver license endorsement(s) or CDL to operate vehicles, but these are a plus. The successful candidate will need to pass a background check and drug screen. This position requires strong oral and written communication skills, including the ability to interact with other staff and our residents and clients.     Maintenance

    Genacross Housing & Community Services has  an immediate opening for a full-time general Maintenance position in Toledo, Ohio. Applicants should have building maintenance or skilled trade experience. This position is responsible for making repairs to the building systems, completing preventative maintenance, and rehabbing units in senior apartment living environments.

    Additionally, the successful candidate will assure the neat appearance of lawn, lawn edges, shrubs, trees, and other landscape areas. The individual will also ensure parking areas are neat and clean and that driveways are free of debris, snow, and ice. Semi-annual inspections and maintenance of HVAC systems will be required, along with annual apartment inspections performed in conjunction with the housing manager to conform to audit/inspection standards. Bethany Place is a 45-unit, market-rate senior living facility with 12 assisted living units, located in Fremont, Ohio.     Executive Director of Home Health Operations

    Genacross Lutheran Services has an immediate opening for an Executive Director/Administrator of Home Health Operations. This position works closely with the clinical, therapy and home and community-based services teams within Genacross Lutheran Services. This position reports to the Vice President of Home & Community Based Services and is responsible for the ongoing, routine relationships and operations between the clinical, therapy and housing staff to ensure the best possible resident outcomes. This individual has overall responsibility for the coordination of business strategies, home health development/marketing, reimbursement and compliance oversight, staff development and expansion, budgetary management, maintenance of appropriate licensure, as well as certifications and accreditation for programs within the clinical and therapy environments.

    A bachelor’s degree in health care administration, nursing, therapy or a related field is required. Additionally, a minimum of five years of strong administrative experience is required; preferably in a multi-faceted long-term care and home health setting that includes a track record of clinically driven administrative accomplishments. Regional travel will be necessary.   • Genacross Lutheran Services - Toledo Campus

    Admissions & Marketing Director

    Genacross Lutheran Services-Toledo Campus has an immediate opening for an Admissions & Marketing Director. This position is responsible for coordinating and implementing the marketing plans and the admission process for the campus, as well as complying with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations.

    Duties include, but are not limited to, sales and marketing of the campus, developing strategies to maximize admissions including daily contact with potential referral sources, working with local community agencies to generate a positive image and encourage referral activities, and coordinating weekly marketing meetings. Also, this position conducts admissions screenings of potential patients and determines level of care, services required, equipment needs, and insurance coverage, as indicated.

    The successful candidate must have 1-2 years prior experience with admissions and marketing, preferably in a long-term care setting. A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is required; will consider a newly licensed administrator. This position requires strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment. A clear criminal background check, driving record, and drug screen are required.     Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON)

    Genacross Lutheran Services-Toledo Campus currently has an opening for a full-time Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON). The ideal candidate for this position will be a RN with at least two years of strong management, supervisory and clinical experience in a long-term care setting. MDS experience is highly preferred. This position provides personal nursing care to the residents and leadership to the nursing staff to assure that care standards are met and the highest degree of quality resident care is provided at all times.

    Additionally, this individual must be knowledgeable of long-term care nursing and medical practices and procedures, as well as legal regulations and guidelines that pertain to long-term care. Excellent customer service skills and a strong willingness of facilitate a positive teamwork environment are a necessity.
