Volunteer to Make a Difference
Are you driven by the desire to improve the lives of others? Volunteers have a unique opportunity to directly affect the lives of those we serve through the gifts of their time and talents. Our volunteers enhance the range and quality of services we are able to provide, and we are grateful.
You may choose to volunteer as an individual or as part of a school, church or civic group. Volunteers are welcome for once-a-year special events as well as for more regular commitments on a weekly or monthly basis. Whatever amount of time you have to give will be a blessing to the lives you touch.
The following lists illustrate many (but not all) of the volunteer opportunities available:
- Visit one-on-one with residents
- Work in the gift shop
- Tend to indoor plants
- Create or maintain a garden

Join Our Journey to Improve Lives
Genacross Lutheran Services annually serves thousands of people across generations — from youth to senior adults — throughout northwest Ohio and southeast Michigan. For 160 years and growing, we have expanded our ministries through the unwavering commitment of people who are inspired to join us in the call to help provide compassionate care for those in need. As we continue to meet the needs of our community, we seek to remain responsive and innovative in ways that will ensure we are prepared for the future.
As a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization, we are especially appreciative of those who come alongside us in ministry through gifts of time, talent and financial resources. Your support makes a positive impact in the lives of many. Thank you.
