January 29, 2024Genacross to hold “A Day in the Light” Benefit Concert
Genacross Lutheran Services will present “A Day in the Light” benefit concert of spiritual music from 4-7 p.m. on Thursday, October 5, 2023. The live concert will be held in the back yard of the Genacross Lutheran Services-Wolf Creek Campus, located at 2001 Perrysburg Holland Road in Holland, Ohio.
The concert will include hourly music performances by Accoustic Crossing, Church of the Cross Praise Team, and pianist Sarah Lewis. The event will also feature a silent auction, a live painting demonstration by artist Lisa McNamara, and food trucks (Smashdawgz and Guiseppe’s Italian Ice).
“We are very excited to bring an evening of live spiritual music for our residents and the larger community,” said Katie Miller, Executive Director of the Wolf Creek Campus. “Bring your lawn chairs and blankets and plan to join us for some inspiring music.”
The free concert will raise money for the Genacross Lutheran Services Foundation to support the caring ministries of Genacross. The Foundation will have an information table to accept free-will donations, and all proceeds from the silent auction and auction of the Lisa McNamara painting will go to the Foundation.
The event is sponsored by AllCare Pharmacy, CarePatrol, Cornerstone Caregiving, Golden Care Partners, SouthernCare Hospice Services, and the Wolf Creek Campus. For more information, contact Lacey Kozak at 567-277-0503 or email LKozak@nullGenacross.org.
