Five-Star Rated Napoleon Campus Designated an Employer of Choice

The Genacross Lutheran Services-Napoleon Campus, a continuing care retirement community located at 1036 S. Perry St. in Napoleon, Ohio, has been named a bronze Employer of Choice by LeadingAge Ohio for 2018-2019. The award recognizes providers of aging services who demonstrate leadership in employee development and engagement and meet stringent workforce development criteria.

“We are very excited to be recognized for our employee culture and commitment to excellence,” said Kim Pin͂a, Executive Director of the Napoleon Campus. “In an industry where hiring is extremely competitive, this type of recognition lets people know we are committed to our most valuable resource – our employees.”

This is the second year for the Employer of Choice program, which awards gold, silver and bronze-level designations. The Napoleon Campus is one of 24 organizations across the state to receive the bronze level, while five received silver designation, and three received the gold.

The Napoleon Campus is a member of LeadingAge Ohio, a nonprofit trade association that represents approximately 400 long-term care organizations and hospices, as well as those providing ancillary health care and housing services.

In addition to being named an Employer of Choice, the Napoleon Campus has earned three consecutive deficiency-free state surveys. They are currently ranked as a five-star facility by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS).
