July 12, 2024Coaching Beyond the Game: An Evening with Jim Tressel
Toledo, OH – The Genacross Lutheran Services Foundation presents a unique opportunity to engage with Jim Tressel, the esteemed former head football coach of The Ohio State University. This exclusive charity event, “An Evening with Jim Tressel,” will be held at 6 p.m. on Thursday, July 25, 2024, at The Pinnacle in Maumee, Ohio.
Join Genacross Lutheran Services for a night of inspiration and philanthropy, as Coach Tressel delves into the leadership strategies that led the Buckeyes to the 2002 National Championship. The evening’s highlight will be a lively Q&A session with Coach Tressel, orchestrated by James Starks, anchor of 13abc Action News Good Morning.
Attendees will gain invaluable insights as Coach Tressel shares his experiences and strategies on leadership and perseverance, both in sports and beyond. His stories will explore the art of motivating and inspiring others in any field and the importance of philanthropy.
In addition, Steven Brinkman, an alumnus of the Genacross Family & Youth Services group home program, will share his life-changing experiences under Genacross’ care. He will also discuss how Genacross has changed lives and continues to help youth from disadvantaged backgrounds break cycles of abuse and change their futures in drastic, positive ways.
Tickets for the evening are $150 each, which includes a plated dinner and the inspiring program. A cash bar will be available. The ticketed event also gives attendees the opportunity to support the caring ministries of Genacross, a local nonprofit serving thousands of individuals in need each year.
