Luther Grove: Subsidized housing for seniors in Toledo, Ohio

Luther Grove is an attractive, affordable apartment community primarily for individuals age 62 years or older. Located across the street from First St. John Lutheran Church, just down the street from the Genacross Lutheran Services-Toledo Campus, and one mile north of Mercy St. Charles hospital, this vibrant community is also adjacent to two other Genacross housing sites — Luther Hills and Luther Ridge.

Built on farmland that formerly supplied food to the Lutheran Orphans’ Home, Luther Grove offers a beautiful, serene setting for senior independent living. The campus features 51 apartments in five separate buildings.

Like many Genacross housing sites, Luther Grove has a spiritual foundation. It was developed with the support of Lutheran and non-Lutheran congregations as well as the local community. Seniors of all faiths are welcome to make Luther Grove their home.
