Lutheran Homes Society (LHS) announces the appointment of Denise Gannon as Vice President of Post-Acute Services. In this position, Ms. Gannon will be responsible for the organization’s skilled nursing, long-term-care, assisted living, home health, and therapy operations throughout northwest Ohio.
Ms. Gannon comes to LHS from Eliza Jennings Senior Care Network in Cleveland, Ohio, where she worked since 1996. An RN by training, Denise held a variety of clinical and operational positions during her tenure with Eliza Jennings. Most recently, she served as the Chief Operating Officer.
“Denise brings a wealth of experience to her new role,” stated LHS President/CEO Rick Marshall. “Her operations experience and vision surrounding our changing post-acute health care environment will make her a valuable addition to our leadership team.”
Ms. Gannon is a graduate of Bowling Green State University and a registered nurse. She has served on the LeadingAge Ohio Board of Directors and is still active in the organization – currently serving as a coach in its Leadership Academy. She is an alumna of the national LeadingAge Leadership Academy and has worked as a consultant on person-centered care and dementia.

LHS is a social ministry organization based in Toledo that has been serving the unique needs of youth and elderly since 1860.
